🛠️ How to Use the PSD Mockups

Add Your Design

  1. Open the PSD file in Photoshop.

  2. Find the Smart Object layer labeled something like “Your Design Here.” Double-click the thumbnail to open it in a new window.

  3. In that new window, either turn off the sample layer or delete it. Paste your own design in its place.

  4. When you're done, press Command+S (Mac) or Ctrl+S (Windows) to save. Then close that window.

  5. Your design will automatically update in the main mockup file. Boom.

Change the Background

  • To change the background color:

    1. Locate the "Replace Color _ BG" layer.

    2. Double-click the color icon and pick your new background color.

  • To add your own texture or background image:

    1. Open the BG folder in the layers panel.

    2. Create a new layer inside that folder and paste in your texture or image.

Tips for Better Results

  • Tweak brightness, contrast, and levels after placing your design for a more realistic look.

  • Crop the image to frame your mockup in a more dynamic way.

  • Play with Blend Modes. Try:

    • Darken

    • Multiply

    • Linear Burn
